What Will You Do?

There are two different assignments- Volunteer will either dress in the costume provided (Bluey or Minion) or be the handler to assist with guiding the volunteer in the costume around the grounds.

Volunteer Requirements:

Minimum Age is 14yrs with adult supervision.  Must be willing to wear the costume during the event. Arrive early (10:15am) to get ready.

Volunteers should sign in at the Volunteer check in booth located next to the First Stop Building.

What Will You Do?

Volunteers will host one of five games during our Kroc Fest. Enthusiastically explain the game and provide any additional items (balls, bean bags, etc).  Keep children engaged in the activity.

Volunteer Requirements:

Minimum age is 14 years with adult supervision.  Arrive early (10:15) to be assigned to your post.

Please sign in at the Volunteer Check-In booth located next to the First Stop Building.

What Will You Do?

Assist with monitoring children in the bounce house or obstacle course.  Ensure children play safely in the bounce house and complete the obstacle course.  Report any concerns to a Kroc Center employee.

Please arrive at 10:30am 

Volunteer Requirements:

Minimum age 14 years accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Where to sign in:

Volunteers should sign in at the volunteer tent located next to the First Stop Building.

What Will You Do?

Volunteers will creatively and tastefully decorate their trunks and pass out candy.  Volunteers can bring their own candy and The Kroc Center will provide candy as well.

Volunteer Requirements:

Volunteers should arrive 30 minutes early to decorate.  For safety purposes volunteers will not be able to leave until the event is over at 2pm.  Volunteers will need to complete the attached registration form and return it to The Kroc Center.

Where to sign in:

Volunteers will park in the parking lot behind the First Stop Building and should sign in at the Volunteer check-in booth.

Volunteers at our Clothing Closet will assist with organizing, sorting, and hanging donated clothes, ensuring that our clients have access to essential items with dignity and care. Your support helps us provide a welcoming and organized space where individuals can find the clothing they need to thrive.

Volunteers must be 8 or older. Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. 

Maximum of 10 volunteers per shift. 

Volunteers should ring the bell at the front entrance to report for their shift.

Volunteers at our Donation Center directly impact our community's needs. As a distribution hub for our Family Stores, you'll play a crucial role in sorting, organizing, and testing donated items, ensuring they are ready for distribution to our stores. Your efforts help streamline the donation process and provide essential support to our mission. This opportunity is ideal for large groups looking to make a collective difference in the lives of those we serve. 

Volunteers must be 18 or older. 

Maximum of 10 volunteers per shift. 

Volunteers should ask for the center manager to report for their shift.

Volunteers at our Family Stores play a vital role in supporting our community. You will assist with organizing, sorting, and displaying donations, including clothing and household items. Additionally, volunteers help test electronics to ensure they are in working condition, providing quality products to our customers. Your contribution helps us create a welcoming and organized space where individuals can find affordable items while supporting our mission to assist those in need.

Volunteers must be 18 or older. 

Maximum of 4 volunteers per shift. 

Volunteers should ask for the store manager at the front register to report for their shift.

Monday and Tuesday there is a maximum of 1 volunteer per shift. Wednesday through Saturday there is a maximum of 3 volunteers per shift.

Volunteers play a crucial role at the Center of Hope Soup Kitchen, assisting in setting up and preparing meals for both shelter clients and the wider community. During dinner service, volunteers warmly greet clients, distribute meals, and assist with cleaning up serving stations and the dining room afterward. 

Volunteers should ring the bell at the front entrance to sign in for their shift, Monday through Friday. On Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays, please ring the bell at the side entrance instead.

Volunteers needed for The Salvation Army's annual Senior Luncheon on October 8th from 10am to 2pm.  Supporting our seniors is an integral part of our mission at The Salvation Army. This year's theme is Stronger Together, and we are expecting another large turnout!  Please join us for this exciting and fun event!

Who: 10 volunteers.

What:  Prep work, bringing meals to tables, drink station, and clean up.

Where:  The KROC Center 1833 Broad Street.

Join us as a Welcome Desk Greeter at the Kroc Center, where you can be the friendly face that brightens someone's day. Volunteers in this role warmly welcome members and guests, providing assistance and information as needed. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to send birthday messages, support member retention efforts, make wellness orientation calls, and provide updates to enhance the member experience. Your presence helps create a welcoming and inclusive environment, ensuring that everyone feels valued and supported in our community center.

Volunteers must be 18 or older. 

Maximum of 1 volunteer per shift. 

Volunteers should ask for the membership manager at the front desk to report for their shift.
