What Will You Do?
As a Bell Ringer, you'll be the cheerful face of The Salvation Army during the holiday season! Your primary role will be to ring a bell while standing beside one of our iconic red kettles. Your presence encourages donations that directly support local programs.
Volunteer Requirements:
An adult must accompany volunteers under 18. Shifts are 4 to 5 hours long. Dress warmly and wear comfortable shoes! Volunteers must register at least one week before their desired shift. Sign-ups made less than a week in advance will not be accepted.
Group Opportunities:
Each available slot represents a Red Kettle, not the number of people who can volunteer. For example, if there is 1 slot left, that means one Red Kettle is available, which can be claimed by either an individual or a group. The team leader should register for the slot using their account. At check-in, they can use our app to log hours for additional group members as 'Plus Ones'. If a group member would like to log their hours using their own registered account, please email us.
Where To Go:
A Red Kettle will be fully set up at the store entrance with a bell and all necessary materials when your shift begins. If another volunteer is already at the kettle, kindly tell them you're there to take over.
